On the menu are several different tools, each which have their own set of exercises. You don't have to work on these in any particular order, but you should work on all the tools. Don't skip any.

The first group of exercises will focus on how you make sounds. Don't use your book when you do the first group. The second group will focus on worming inside the minds of your narrator and the characters that populate your book. If possible, use your book for the second group.

These two groups of exercises are the basics. There is a third group of exercises, meant for special situations. You only need to work on them if your book calls for them.
